Cute Abiola Leaves the Nigerian Navy and Explains Why

Cute Abiola, a prominent Nigerian comedian, Abdulgafar Ahmad, has resigned from the Nigerian Navy.
After being selected as the governor of Kwara State’s special assistant on creative industries by Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the skit creator made the announcement a short time later on his verified Facebook page.

The 26-year-old claims that he is leaving the Navy in order to have the time and money to devote himself fully to his aspirations.

After being held by the Nigerian Navy for nearly a month on the grounds that he had broken the Armed Forces Social Media Policy, he was released a year later.

“With profound gratitude, I deeply appreciate the Nigerian Navy for giving me the uncommon opportunity to imbibe discipline through a regimented procedure in the areas of career development, moral values, and work ethics, to name but a few,” he wrote in a Facebook post on Friday thanking the Chief of Naval Staff for accepting his resignation.

I can confidently assert that I possess the necessary intelligence and human development skill to lead a prosperous life going forward.

“I want all of my supporters to join me in thanking the Chief of Naval Staff and all of my senior colleagues for greatly advancing my professional development as I used their position to fulfill my responsibility to safeguard and defend our cherished Country. Sincerely, the Nigerian Navy has turned into my guide to a successful career.

I was overjoyed when the Chief of Naval Staff agreed to let me leave the Navy so I could devote all of my time to pursuing my aspirations. This one-of-a-kind action by the Chief of Naval Staff is absolutely fantastic and demonstrates how the Navy cares deeply about the aspirations of its officers.

“Either in Nigeria or overseas, I promise to continue to positively represent the Nigerian Navy as a member of the family. I am honored to have worked for the Nigerian Navy, a prestigious institution.

I want to sincerely appreciate all my Senior Colleagues, colleagues and junior colleagues who were very instrumental to my success story, for my wish to you is fair winds and following seas, because I know you will remain always faithful. Thank you the Nigerian Navy.”

Abiola was arrested several times supposedly for creating skits while wearing the official camouflage of the Nigerian military.
