LG Restates Commitment to Health Sector

Information and Communications Technology Company, LG Electronics,  has strengthened its investment in the Nigerian health sector to boost delivery and  effectiveness in the sector.
The firm which is notable for its various laudable projects  targeting physical wellness of Nigerians has taken its health initiatives to the people of  Ibadan, Oyo State,  in fulfillment of its corporate objectives.

While donating products the all new Gencool inverter air conditioners, Jet Cool air conditioners as well as treated mosquito nets to Adeoyo Maternity Teaching Hospital in Ibadan,  the organisation affirmed that the gesture was to further enhance health care delivery services in the state.
At the event, officials of the company interacted with the hospital management and members of the community, stressing   that the items were expected to meet the needs of the health institution in its  mission to provide   community members with excellent health care services.

Welcoming the LG team, Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr, Adeyanju Olusoji,  appreciated the firm for recognising  the centre for such a gesture promising that the items would be effectively utilised for the purpose they were presented.
In his words, Head of Corporate Marketing, LG Electronics West Africa Operations Mr. Hari Elluru, who led the delegation said, “We have remained competitive while improving sustainability; we have enabled investment and innovation required to deploy new technologies and to safely and responsibly develop progressive products. We believe that the these items donated today would improve  service delivery in the hospital and provide the enabling environment for the medical personnel. “Representing Fouani Nigeria Limited at the occasion, LG Regional Branch Manager at Ibadan, Mr. Jad Atwi, stated that in addition to empowering the health facility and community dwellers, the materials would motivate hospital staff to do their work more efficiently. Appreciating the firm, the representative of the Chairman, Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Oni Lawrence, said, “We are proud to be the recipients of these items which will go a long way in addressing some of the challenges we face here. We appreciate the company’s  generosity and goodwill to our hospital; this for us clearly demonstrates the company’s commitment to the health sector.
