Nollywood actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel’s kidnappers want 100 000 USD Ransom

Nollywood stars Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel were kidnapped, and the kidnappers have demanded $100,000 as compensation.

As was previously reported, the top Nollywood celebrities were kidnapped on Thursday, July 28, as they were leaving a filming location in Ozalla, Enugu State.

The AGN’s Director of Communications, Monalisa Chinda-Coker, issued the following statement in response to the alleged kidnapping of the two members: “THE TWO MEMBERS WERE SUSPECTED OF HAVING BEEN KIDNAPPED, WHICH HAS INCREASED FEAR AMONGST MEMBERS ABOUT THE SAFETY OF ACTORS FILMING IN THE COUNTRY.

EJEZIE EMEKA ROLLAS, the national president of the guild, issued the following directive: “DUE TO THIS SAD DEVELOPMENT, ALL ACTORS HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED TO AVOID GOING TO THE OUTSKIRTS OF CITIES TO FILM UNLESS FULL SECURITY COVER IS PROVIDED TO ENSURE THEIR SAFETY.”
