A man identified as Chinasa Nnorom has allegedly killed his wife during a fight, after an altercation in Nnewi, Anambra State.
His wife, Juliet Ogbodo, was said to have died after the fight with her husband.

Nnorom, a middle-aged man, was said to have engaged his wife in a fight following a quarrel on Saturday, but shortly after the couple were separated, the wife started vomiting blood, and foaming in her mouth.

DAILY POST gathered that following the incident, she was rushed to a hospital in Otolo Nnewi, not too far from her home, but was confirmed dead by a medical doctor on duty.

Sources said the body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue, and awaiting autopsy.

The Anambra state Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Haruna Mohammed confirmed the incident, saying that Police detectives attached to CPS Nnewi division have visited the area.

“Our men were there and photograph obtained and Suspect arrested. Case is under investigation after which suspect would be charged to Court for prosecution,” he said.
