A terrorist attack was carried out in Jerusalem’s Shivtei Israeli light rail station by a suspect carrying a knife, according to a statement from the police.

It simply stated, “The suspect was neutralized on the spot.

A man who had been stabbed in the back and was about 25 years old was treated, according to the Magen David Adom emergency agency. Later, he was brought to a hospital.

According to a statement sent by Shaare Zedek Hospital, the injured guy was receiving treatment and was in a “stable” condition.

The most recent attack occurred in the midst of intense fighting between Israel and the Palestinians, which has so far resulted in at least 222 Palestinian deaths this year.

A tally by AFP based on official sources on both sides lists at least 31 Israelis, a Ukrainian, and an Italian as additional casualties so far this year.

On the Palestinian side, there are both combatants and civilians, while on the Israeli side, there are three Arab minority people.
