Afrobeats singer Innocent Idibia, also known as 2baba, surprised the social media world when he disclosed that he and his wife Annie Idibia had been separated for some time and filed for divorce.

The musician revealed this in a video clip posted on his Instagram account on Sunday.
He said, “Hello to my wonderful people from various federations. Well, I have something to say that is both brief and long. Annie Macaulay and I have been apart for a long and have filed for divorce.

2baba also stated that he would issue a press statement shortly to inform his followers about his innocence or guilt.

“I would grant a press release shortly to tell my story—not because anyone has the right to know about my personal life, but because I care about my people and want them to know whether I am innocent or guilty. Stay blessed, my folks. “I love you all.”

Following the publication of this report, an Instagram post was published in which he stated that his account had been hacked and that he is attempting to recover it. This sparked outrage among his admirers on social media.

“My Instagram account has been hijacked, and efforts are underway to regain control. #onelove!”

In an unexpected turn of events, another post was shared, saying that his account had not been hacked and that the previous statement was correct.

“Hey, my friends, no one hacked my account; I said what I stated. “I come in peace.”

Annie and 2baba welcomed Isabella, their first child, in 2008. He proposed to Annie on Valentine’s Day, 2012. The couple married privately the same year, and their white wedding was held in Dubai in March 2013. They welcomed their second child, Olivia, in 2014.
