Biodun Okewo, also known as Omoborty, a Nollywood actress, has denied kidnapping her husband from the daughter of her senior colleague Lola Idije.
According to Naija News, this comes after a controversial Instagram blogger, Gislover, said that the curvy actress, who married her US-based lover, Adeniyi Olabiyi, in July this year, ended the relationship between the man and Lola’s daughter.
The blog further claimed that the romance controversy prevented many Biodun’s industry colleagues from attending the wedding.

However, Biodun denied the accusation in an online video.

The Yoruba movie star revealed that Lola Idije and her daughter had never met Adeniyi until speaking with him through her.

She also admitted to claiming that Lola became her mother after her biological mother died.

Omoborty also challenged some of her coworkers involved in the allegations to publicly address her relationship with Adeniyi prior to their marriage.

The actress, who spoke both English and Yoruba, stated, “My husband does not know any of Actress Lola Idije’s daughters. In fact, Actress Lola and my husband first communicated through me. I did not abduct anyone’s hubby. Actress Tosin, they alleged you are the one publishing the sub; please come out and clear these claims.
