In response to the results of the 2023 presidential election, veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has issued a warning to followers. Nigerians have continued to express displeasure over the election which many alleged was rigged.
In a humorous video posted to Instagram, Kanayo advised followers to hold off from endorsing friends or asserting a high level of familiarity with them before they are hired by INEC.
How well do you know your friends, parents, churchgoers, etc.? he asked in the video’s caption. Don’t vouch for someone until INEC has appointed them.
Election Sold By INEC To Highest Bidder
Meanwhile, Kanayo O. Kanayo recently claimed that Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of INEC, should be held accountable for the alleged malpractice that tainted the electoral process and that INEC sold the presidential election to the highest bidder.
According to Naija News, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) charged electoral fraud due to anomalies in the results that were announced during the collation of the presidential results in Abuja.
In response, Kanayo O. Kanayo asked Nigerians to interrogate the INEC Chairman regarding his refusal to transmit the results from the polling place and the cause of his prior decision’s compromise.
He claimed that INEC tricked a lot of Nigerians and sold the election to the highest bidder, and that anyone who lost should file a lawsuit.The legendary actor stated Nigerian lecturers have lost his respect since they collaborated in destabilizing the nation.
