Following the tragic collapse of a school building in Plateau State that resulted in several fatalities and injuries, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu expressed her profound sadness.
22 kids lost their lives and 132 were injured in Friday’s tragic incident at Saint Academy in Jos, according to Naija News. Several more people were left stranded beneath the crumbled edifice.

The First Lady prayed for strength at this terrible moment and consolation for the victims’ families.
The statement said: “The news of the Jos school building collapse, which resulted in the deaths of defenseless children and their teachers, is incredibly tragic.
“His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Muftwang, the bereaved families, and the people of Plateau State have my sincere condolences.
Losing youngsters who have such bright futures is incredibly tragic. I pray that God gives you consolation and the fortitude to bear this tremendous loss, even though words may not be able to ease your pain.
“May our loved ones’ souls rest in eternal peace. Amen.”
