Two days are set aside for Akeredolu’s funeral by Aiyedatiwa

Wednesday, February 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Owo is Ajabue (traditional ceremonies).

Court 1, Ondo State High Court Headquarters, Hospital Road, Akure will host a special court session at 10:00 am.

“Laying in Akure Township Stadium for State and Commendation Service” Time: 1 PM; Evening of Tributes, 4 PM–7 PM, St Andrews Church, Imola Street, Owo.

Thursday, February 22 (public holiday) at 4 p.m.: St. Andrews Cathedral, Imola Street, Owo, will host a song service. Wake-Keep begins at 8:00 p.m. at Maranatha Villa in Owo.

“Kegites Club presents a Candlelight Procession and World Gyration from 8 p.m. until dawn.

Funeral service at St. Andrews Church, Imola Street, Owo, at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 23 (public holiday). Following the funeral ritual, interment takes place right away at the burial ground in Owo. (Only for close relatives). Arrive by 1pm at the Mydas Hotel and Resort on Ikare Road in Owo.

The Akeredolu Memorial Friendly football game will take place in Akure Township Stadium on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 3 p.m.
