The Nigeria Customs Service (NSC) joint border patrol team, Sector IV, reported seizing a consignment of sex enhancement pills worth N19.6 duty-paid value in Sokoto state.

While briefing journalists in Sokoto, Coordinating Comptroller Mr. Kolapo Oladeji stated that trucks carrying food supplies were also intercepted at the Kajji settlement on the Sokoto-Kebbi route.

According to him, the intercepted truckloads of food were traveling to the Niger Republic across the Kebbi border, which violated laws.
Because of the current scenario, we will do all possible to prevent food smuggling out of the nation.

“We are all aware that the cost of food goods have risen due to the actions of some Nigerians. Our people are starving, but they prefer to transport food to other countries, despite the Economic Community of West African States’ (ECOWAS) border barriers.
