The Kaduna State Police Command apprehended a renowned kidnapper who was terrorizing people of the state’s Ikara Local Government Area.

According to a statement issued by the Command’s spokesman, Mansir Hassan, the suspect, Abdulrahman of Karshi Abuja, was apprehended by police anti-kidnapping agents in Karshi while in possession of an AK-47 gun and 27 live rounds of ammunition.

The statement went on to say that during interrogation, the suspect admitted to being involved in multiple kidnappings in the Ikara local government region.

According to the police, additional investigations are underway, and the suspect will face charges once preliminary investigations are completed.
