Indigenous rapper Chibuzor Azubike Nelson, well known as Phyno, has issued a harsh warning to fans who compare him to #Olamide or any other rapper.
According to Naija News, over the years, some fans have continuously contrasted #Phyno, who raps largely in Igbo, to Olamide, who raps predominantly in Yoruba.
On Friday, an X user with the handle @TheDamiForeign drew another connection between the duo, writing: “When it comes to rap, who’s the GOAT?” “Phyno vs Olamide.”

In response to the post, Phyno fumed: “Yo!!! What the heck is wrong with you guys? Stop pitting me against my brother or anyone else. Do your conversation with someone else.. na ala adi agba unu. wtf?”

Meanwhile, singer Ric Hassani has chastised fans who threaten to withdraw their support for superstars because of a certain issue.

In a post on X, the singer questioned the significance of such threats, highlighting the challenges musicians endure in achieving fame.

Someone in Ijebu Ode wakes up saying, ‘You’ve lost my respect’ or ‘You’ve lost a fan.’ “Y’all must not understand what niggas have gone through to get where they are,” Hassani wrote.

He cynically said, “You’ve lost a fan?” If you don’t, sit down somewhere. “You’re not even nobody.”
