Fela Kuti is the true father of Afrobeat. Afrobeat is an African music genre. It is a distinct sound created primarily by the legendary Fela Kuti. London was one of the first countries to recognize new-generation African music.

Earlier in the conversation, Davido revealed that he once ran away from his family’s $60 million mansion to sleep in a friend’s studio because of his love of music.
Davido went on to explain in the now-viral REAL 92.3 FM interview video that his great music career was formerly linked to his father’s wealth.
“What was difficult for me was coming from a wealthy background,” he explained, “because people say his father is in money, but they later agree that the boy is actually good after several records.”
“People love the grass to grace and was down but now I’m up story,” she says, “but I was never really down bad.”We had a $60 million house in Nigeria, which I fled and was sleeping in a friend’s studio since I knew they wouldn’t let me out once I returned.”
