Frank Lampard Optimistic About Chelsea’s EPL Top Four Hopes

Former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard feels optimistic about the club’s Premier League hopes this season.
Frank Lampard recognized that Chelsea are now in a strong position to contend for a top-four finish in the league. He also praised coach Enzo Maresca’s immediate influence at Stamford Bridge after taking over from Mauricio Pochettino at the start of the season.

Pochettino’s departure, despite overseeing an improvement from 12th to sixth place in the previous campaign, paved the way for Maresca to take charge. Under Maresca’s stewardship, Chelsea have shown promising signs, currently occupying the fourth position in the league table.

Lampard, who has managed Chelsea on two occasions, emphasized the challenges the club has faced, including ownership changes, managerial transitions, and squad restructuring. He attributed Chelsea’s recent struggles to these factors but expressed confidence in the current squad’s ability to compete at the highest level once again.

In an interview with TNT Sports Mexico, Frank Lampard observed, “After a period of transition and turbulence, with changes in ownership, administration, and player personnel, it’s unsurprising that Chelsea struggled. However, I feel they are currently in an excellent position to compete for a top-four finish and achieve the club’s ambitions.
