Gov. Adeleke Sparks Outrage Over Nollywood Actress Laide Bakare’s Appointment

Following her nomination as Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State’s Senior Special Assistant (SSA) for Entertainment, Arts, Culture, and Tourism, Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has generated conflicting responses.
The actress celebrated her accomplishment on Instagram by showcasing pictures of herself with the governor.

Laide thanked the Governor and pledged to do her absolute best.

“Now, an Honorable ya Allah, I am grateful,” she wrote. To Governor Ademola Jackson Adeleke Imole Osun, my new boss. I appreciate your confidence in me and the chance to be of service. I swear to do my absolute best. Thus, please assist me, God 🙏 Osun State Governor’s Senior Special Assistant for Entertainment, Arts, Culture, and Tourism.

Much work remains to be done. Should we? the wonderful people of Nigeria in general and Osun State in particular. I consider this to be the beginning of a new chapter in my political career. God be praised in Nigeria.

Many of her coworkers congratulated her, but some internet users voiced their doubts.

Muka Ray wrote, “Omo mi, congratulations.”

Funke Etti wrote: “Happy birthday, my love.”

“Laide Bakare has been on the Imole campaign trail since 2018,” ademide25_ wrote. She performed her tasks in the 2022 fights admirably, as did her Egbon in Osogbo, who was earlier a SLA in the NASS under PDP. You should first win an election if you want to understand why some people are appointed to positions.
“One idiot was crying because she was accused of collecting money from Gov. Sanwolu,” RealAdeshina commented. Laide Bakare is thanking Governor Adeleke for the informal meeting and transaction. Do not use your brain if you so choose. I’m o!”

Writer Yomi Fabiyi said, “Wowu! Laide Bakare, Hon. You deserve congratulations. Greetings, sweetie.

“Congratulations dearest❤️❤️ more wins dear,” Foluke Daramola remarked.

“They will not drag Laide Bakare because she dislikes APC but loves PDP,” Samuel Thevibe stated. Await the award from the Lagos State Government, @toyin_abraham1. You will then notice actual dragging. Some of you are so incredibly foolish for disparaging someone based only on their political choice—I can’t even pretend.”

“When corruption favors you, it’s called connection,” wrote dear_maggy.
