Kemi Nandap is named as the head of immigration by Tinubu

Nandap was the Deputy Comptroller-General in charge of the Service’s Migration Directorate.

Kemi Nanna Nandap has been selected by President Bola Tinubu to be the Nigeria Immigration Service’s (NIS) Comptroller-General.

The appointment will take effect on March 1, 2024, according to a statement made public on Wednesday by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Advisor to the President on Media and Publicity.

The release said, “DCG Nandap succeeds Mrs. Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, whose term in office expires on February 29, 2024.”

The President believes that the new Comptroller-General will further the current reforms in the service, build a strong framework for the effective and committed provision of services to Nigerians, and enhance national security by means of proactive and efficient border security and migration control.

Nandap was the Deputy Comptroller-General in charge of the Service’s Migration Directorate.
