Mbappe, France’s captain, could then play his first home game for the holders against Real Valladolid the following week.

Madrid’s fierce rivalry Barcelona’s season begins at Valencia, in the first league game under new coach Hansi Flick.

The highly anticipated Clasicos between Madrid and Barcelona will be held at the end of October and mid-May.

Madrid finishes the season at home against Real Sociedad, while Barcelona travels to Athletic Bilbao on the weekend of May 24-25.
