Yvonne Jegede, a Nollywood actress, lost one of her adoptive children to cholera.
The actress revealed this in a post on her Instagram page.
Yvonne stated that she met the deceased, named as Olamide, when he was in Primary 4 and was due to attend JSS3 following the summer vacation before his untimely death.

According to her, two additional adoptive children, including Olamide’s sister, graduated from secondary school last week.

The actress stated that despite not having all of the money in the world, she has been funding the education of her three children to date, and the gesture has made her life complete.

She added, “I am heartbroken because I lost one of my children to cholera. Olamide and I met when he was in primary 4 and was slated to attend JSS3 following the summer vacation.
The news devastated my heart. I am also pleased that two of my children graduated from secondary school yesterday, one of whom is Olamide’s sister.

“I don’t have all the money in the world, but this makes my life complete. I’m not sure how I’ve managed since 2019, but my God has provided enough to get them through.
