Tinubu Returns to Nigeria After a Trip to Europe – President
President Bola Tinubu and his aides returned to Nigeria from Europe today, according to a Presidency statement.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, confirmed the news in a post on his X handle today, welcoming the president to the country.
“Welcome home, Mr President!,” he wrote.
Over two weeks ago, President Tinubu traveled to meet with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, after which he traveled to Saudi Arabia to attend a special World Economic Forum (WEF).
He then traveled to Europe after the conference.
It should be noted that on April 22, the president left Abuja for the Kingdom of the Netherlands on an official visit.
Ajuri Ngelale, the Presidential Spokesperson, stated that he was visiting the Netherlands at the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
Following the engagements in the Netherlands, Tinubu traveled to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend a special WEF meeting on April 28 and 29.
The president was due to return to the country following the forum in Saudi Arabia, but he did not, increasing concerns about his whereabouts.
