Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has revealed that the death of his close friend and frequent collaborator, Mohbad, completely transformed his outlook on life.

According to Naija News, the artiste shared his thoughts during a recent livestream with TikToker Joblaq, explaining that Mohbad’s passing has pushed him into a stage of self-rediscovery. He noted that he now approaches life with greater clarity and understanding.

Bella Shmurda said:
“RIP Mohbad. After he passed, my mind reset—everything changed. The way I see life also changed. There was a time our parents would caution us whenever we misbehaved, saying, ‘Don’t worry, soon you’ll understand.’ Right now, I’m in that phase. I’ve started to understand, and I’ve gained clarity on certain things.”
