Bidemi Kosoko, one of the daughters of famous actor Jide Kosoko, has lost part of her homes due to a fire outbreak.
Shola, Bidemi’s sister, recounted the sad story on her Instagram page on Wednesday, praising God for saving her sister and family from the fire.
The actress stated that she and her siblings were celebrating Christmas at their father’s house when they received a call from Bidemi’s estate about the fire.
She went on to say that the fire was put out thanks to Bidemis’s friend, who contacted firefighters.
“We thank God for his faithfulness, love, and blessing our lives in the year 2023,” she added. It has been a tradition in my family to spend Boxing Day, December 26th, at our daddy’s house, when we all exchange and unwrap our gifts.
“This year, we decided to record the activities because it’s always fun to have fun with family.” therefore Bidemi Kosoko, her husband, children, and domestic staff were all at our father’s house, therefore her apartment was closed.
We were having a good time when we got a call saying Bidemi’s apartment and her neighbor’s unit were on fire. In fact, my father and I were getting ready to leave for another big occasion when we got the call. And we got what was shown in the video.
“We were on different video calls watching the scenario, how the firefighter arrived, how her apartment was forced open, and how they eventually extinguished the fire.”
“Many thanks to Bidemi’s friend, Taiwo Lawal, and her husband, who live in the same estate and rushed to help.” People in the neighborhood expressed their love and support to guarantee that the fire was extinguished.
“We are grateful for everyone’s outpouring of love and kindness. I hope that this never happens to anyone else. Overall, we thank God for preserving our lives because no one was caught in the fire. We will celebrate the year 2024 in peace and love.”
