BREAKING: The EFCC arrests Bobrisky for naira abuse

The Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has released a photograph of controversial Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
Bobrisky was apprehended at Pinnock Estate in Lagos State on Wednesday, April 3, and imprisoned at the EFCC’s Lagos command office.

The EFCC said on Thursday on its official Instagram page that its operatives had launched an investigation into Bobrisky for allegedly spraying Naira notes.

According to the statement, the EFCC invited the 31-year-old crossdresser after a video was released showing her spraying and flaunting wads of fresh Naira notes at the ‘Ajakaju’ movie premiere, produced by Nollywood star Eniola Ajao, on March 24, 2024, at Film One Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos.

Further inquiry found that Bobrisky had committed the claimed offense at other event venues and gatherings at various times.

According to the statement, the controversial crossdresser arrived at the EFCC’s Lagos Zonal Command on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, for interrogation and provided his comments after being invited by the Commission.

The EFCC stated that Bobrisky will be charged in court once the investigations are completed.
