Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Chartered Accountant to join our team. The Financial Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles, be proficient in financial analysis, and possess excellent attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare financial reports for management and external stakeholders as needed.
General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger on a regular basis.
- Record and classify financial transactions accurately.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or irregularities.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets.
- Prepare financial forecasts and variance analyses.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely collections.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
Tax Compliance:
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Maintain tax records and documentation.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare financial models and projections.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Internal Controls:
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and controls.
Audit Support:
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Provide documentation and explanations as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Must be a chartered accountant.
- Knowledge of and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- 4 years experience and above.
Skills and Qualities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP or financial software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ethical and trustworthy conduct.
Software Packages Familiarity:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex functions and pivot tables.
- Experience with cloud accounting software.
- Knowledge of financial modeling software
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
