Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Chartered Accountant to join our team. The Financial Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles, be proficient in financial analysis, and possess excellent attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare financial reports for management and external stakeholders as needed.

General Ledger Management:

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger on a regular basis.
  • Record and classify financial transactions accurately.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or irregularities.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and variance analyses.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely collections.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.

Tax Compliance:

  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Maintain tax records and documentation.

Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare financial models and projections.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Internal Controls:

  • Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and controls.

Audit Support:

  • Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
  • Provide documentation and explanations as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Must be a chartered accountant.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • 4 years experience and above.

Skills and Qualities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP or financial software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Ethical and trustworthy conduct.

Software Packages Familiarity:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex functions and pivot tables.
  • Experience with cloud accounting software.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling software
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
