On Tuesday, award-winning Nigerian musician David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, suggested that Grammy winner Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, commonly known as Wizkid, will release new songs.
Davido suggested on his official X account (previously known as Twitter) that Wizkid would release the new sound on Friday.

This comes just a few days after the brilliant singers partied at a beach event in Lagos State on Saturday.

In a series of viral videos, the duo, who are frequently at the center of fan feuds over who is the superior musician, shared a moment of togetherness, vibes, and dancing routines at the Skyla event.

Among the dancing and singing, both vocalists exchanged whispers, caresses, and close embraces, indicating a friendship that appeared to transcend previous hostilities.
When Davido’s hit songs like “Away” and “Feel” were played, both performers danced with infectious energy, leaping up and down in unison.

On Tuesday, Davido said on his social media channel, “New wit Friday!!! Wtf!!! Replay EVERY WEEKEND!!”
Meanwhile, Wizkid hinted to the new sound dropping on Friday in a post on his Instagram account.
