Former Big Brother Naija contestant Opara Chinonso Ibinabo, well known as Kim Oprah, has said that when she was struggling, she used to sell sachet water and recharge cards.
During an interview with Taymesan on the Tea With Tay podcast, the reality TV personality spoke up about her past struggles.
Kim Opera described her childhood experiences, including living in Abuja barracks after her father died.
She explained that she sold pure water and recharge cards while at campus.
Kim Oprah, on the other hand, argued that she was glad she went through such a scenario, saying it shaped her and made her stronger.
“When I was at the University of Port Harcourt, my sister and I used to sell recharge cards, pure water, and eggs around our side because there was no nearby kiosk where you could buy those things, so we became the kiosk,” she explained.
“Honestly, I’m just happy that I went through it because it really shaped me and made me stronger.”I understand the hustle because I have witnessed pain. So coming out the other side and being this person is like saying, “I understand both worlds.”
