Toke Makinwa, a media personality and actress, recently gave advice for women looking to attract wealthy men during the holiday season.
The prominent media personality revealed in a recent edition of her podcast, Toke Moments, that the most affluent and influential men can be found around Banana Island and other upmarket districts of Lagos.
Toke advised attending house parties in exclusive areas like as Banana Island, Ikoyi, Victoria Island (VI), and Lekki Phase 1 to increase one’s chances of catching a “Big Fish” during the holiday season.
She highlighted that house parties outside of Lekki Phase 1 are prohibited, as are clubs, which have become hangouts for phony wealthy people.
Addressing women specifically, Toke encouraged them to set a budget and establish relationships, highlighting the need of both for gaining access to luxury events.
“You must first have a budget for enjoyment because high-profile men do not go to slums, and some of them do not like to go out.” “As a result, you must know people who know people.”Ladies, avoid the clubs over Christmas since they are excessively hot and boisterous. Go to house parties; that’s where it’s at. You can manage VI at places like Banana Island and Ikoyi Southwest, possibly in Lekki 1. Anything following Lekki 1 is a waste of time.”
