One of Mayorkun’s stolen necklaces has been returned to him, according to Iyanya

Iyanya, a popular Nigerian artist, has revealed that one of his colleague Mayorkun’s necklaces, which were allegedly stolen in Calabar, Cross River State, has been restored.

Mayorkun reportedly vowed never to play in Calabar again after being robbed of his multi-million naira jewelry while in the city.

Iyanya had implored individuals in possession of the jewelry to return it, promising a reward in exchange.

He stated that one of the necklaces had been returned via his X handle.

Iyanya captioned a photo of one of the necklaces with the phrase ‘The Mayor Of Lagos,’ “Thank you the guy who brought this back this morning to THE GRAND HOTEL CALABAR.”

“Just returned is one of two pieces of @Mayorkun jewelry.” We still have one more to go. Please assist us in returning the second one, my brothers.”

In another post, Iyanya promised a $500 reward to anyone who returns the second necklace, which has the inscription “Of Lagos.”

“We’ll pay $500 if we get the second pendant.”

“Money is at The Grand Hotel Calabar,” he wrote.
