This was stated on Sunday during the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s (RCCG) October Thanksgiving Service and Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Day celebration.
During the event, Pastor Adeboye preached on the subject of “Freedom Indeed.”
The pastor prayed, “I pray that God will heal our nation in the name that is above every other name.”
“Talking about independence is talking about freedom, therefore yes, we are talking about freedom. You could be free from the colonial master while still being a slave to disease, poverty, terror, and evil powers, he said.
More than everything, I want all of you who are in Christ freedom and true freedom. I am wishing you a very happy holiday.
