The Nigerian DSS Salary Structure has been updated – 2024!

Since its establishment in 1986, the Department of State Services (DSS) has been tasked with maintaining national security, obtaining intelligence, and defending the Federal Republic of Nigeria against internal threats.

The Consolidated Para-Military Salary Structure (CONPASS), a uniform internal multi-agency salary scale for paramilitary forces in Nigeria, serves as the foundation for the salary structure of the Nigerian DSS.

DSS operates on a strict hierarchical structure, which involves four stages that one must pass through to reach the top: non-officers, junior officers, senior officers, and high-ranking officers.

Department of State Services (DSS) Salary – 2024 Updated

DSS salary structure varies based on factors such as budgetary allocations, policies, and education level.

Due to the sensitive nature of their work, salary information at DSS is classified.
