Flooding causes gridlock on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway’s long bridge
The lengthy bridge on the Warewa sector of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway has been flooded, resulting in a traffic gridlock.
The water was caused by a strong downpour on Thursday afternoon, rendering the route nearly unusable.
Though automobiles are still able to swim through the flood, commuters’ agony can only be imagined.
The rain began at 2pm on Thursday and has yet to stop as of 8pm, with several properties in the neighborhood now submerged.
