Florence Okpe, a spokesman for the Ogun FRSC, stated that the crash was caused by a loss of control and that the FRSC rescue squad made every effort to preserve the victims’ lives.

The impact of the injuries prevented the driver and the other two passengers from making it, and their remains were reportedly placed at a morgue in Sagamu, the woman claimed.

The statement stated that at around 0107 hours on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway near Mowe, FRSC personnel conducted a rescue operation involving two cars with the registration number T-15636LA BLUEBIRD and a HOWO TRUCK without a number.

All three of the individuals involved were adult males, and they were all murdered when the container dropped and rested on the HOWO truck’s occupants.

“A crane was called in to lift the container off the road, and a tow vehicle was called in to remove the truck to alleviate traffic flow.”

In order to prevent accidents, the FSRC recommended drivers to drive defensively and always consider the interests of other road users.

Additionally, it urged drivers to never drive recklessly, constantly anticipate the activities of other road users, and always abide by traffic laws and regulations.
