Druva, a player in cloud data protection and management, announced the availability of its SaaS solutions, Druva’s inSync and Phoenix, from the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Region.

The AWS Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Region is designed and built to meet rigorous compliance standards, providing high levels of security for all AWS customers. As with every AWS Region, the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Region is compliant with applicable national and local data protection laws. Customers have the assurance that their content stored in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Region will not move to another region unless legally required to do so or the customer moves it.

“As Indian companies increasingly move to the cloud, Druva is the first company to deliver the flexibility and speed that enterprises need for their critical data protection and management needs, within a secure cloud that provides the data sovereignty within India,” said Jaspreet Singh, founder and CEO, Druva. “This is of critical importance for our customers, particularly those in sensitive Industries such as finance, insurance, health care, transportation and pharmaceuticals.”

  • Druva’s inSync provides a unified platform to protect, preserve and discover end-user data across endpoints and cloud applications.
  • For IT, inSync provides a full suite of management capabilities, including backup and restore; ransomware recovery; OS migration; eDiscovery enablement; and compliance monitoring, auditing and remediation.
  • For the end-user, inSync enhances productivity through self-restore capabilities and anywhere, anytime, any device access and sharing.

With limitless snapshots and infinite retention capabilities, Phoenix builds on Druva’s enterprise trusted, high-performance cloud platform by delivering centralized management of hot, warm and cold backups, while removing the need for outdated, error-prone and heavily manual approaches — significantly lowering costs
